Participation in the Competition is free of charge to enter. The registration fee is only applicable if your application has passed the prejudging phase. Thus, you pay only if your application has been approved and confirmed, and if you have successfully passed the first stage of the Open International Competition.

Since the “Business Leader of the Year” Open International Competition is permanent, entries are accepted on a regular basis. However, all received nominations are taken into consideration in terms of the current calendar year's deadlines, and the Winners will also be declared as this year’s nominees

The results of the Competition are announced twice a month and affiliated with distinguished achievements in one of the six Nominations:

• Business Excellence
• Creativity and Innovation
• Exceptional Leadership
• International Outreach
• Customer Service Excellence
• Effective Management
• Sustainable Development
• Reliable Partnership

A Nomination name and a Category for the nomination are selected by the applicant.

The first stage of the Competition process is the consideration of all submitted applications, and their approval/rejection by the IARC Review Committee.

At the second stage of the Competition our experts evaluate the potential and track record of each candidate, as well as the value and impact of his/her professional activity on the local/national/international economic situation.

Nominations will be evaluated by the following criteria, including but not limited to:

• Outstanding enterprise and entrepreneurial flair;
• Exceptional vision and leadership;
• Creativity and innovation;
• Brand recognition;
• Consistent growth.

In addition, the following selection criteria are used to assess professional achievements:

• Successful management experience;
• Ensuring the dynamic development of the enterprise;
• Significant contribution to the formation of the industry;
• Constant focus on the interests of consumers;
• Exceptional personal contribution to the community socio-economic development;
• Local/national/international prizes received as evidence of public recognition.

Based on the results of the previous two stages, at the third stage the Judging Committee evaluates all selected candidates and makes a final decision.

The results of the Competition are summed up once a month, and the Winners are announced on the International Achievements Research Center website, and on its official pages in social networks.
