He is the Director of Scientific Research institute of Child and Family Therapy, Psychology, Medical Rehabilitation.

Dr. Rakhmanov is an Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Ukrainian Higher Education, Academician of European Academy of Natural Sciences, Honorary Professor of the International Personnel Academy, Member of European Association of Psychotherapists, Honored Innovator of Ukraine, Scientific Consultant of the Hearing Rehabilitation Department, Institute of Otolaryngology of Ukraine, Branch Director of Ukrainian Psychoanalysts, the Head of the Ukrainian Center for Psychological Rehabilitation.

Prof. Dr. Rakhmanov has organized a branch of the Scientific Research Institute of Child and Family Therapy, Psychology, Medical Rehabilitation in Baku, Azerbaijan.

He has implemented non-pharmacological methods of treatments of patients with such diseases as Diabetes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsonism, and Cerebral Palsy.

Prof. Dr. Rakhmanov has published and translated into Azerbaijan language recent monographs.
