Elchin Isgandarzada studied at the Faculty of Mechanics of Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (1981-1986). He graduated from the Institute with Honors Diploma.
Later he was honored the academic degree of Doctor and Professor of Technical Sciences.
Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada is the Founder and President of the International Science Academy “Vektor” (since 1991).
He is the Founder and Chief-editor of the international scientific journal “Vektor” and international art journal “Bayati” (since 2003).
In 1997 he was elected a member of The Union of Azerbaijani Writers, and in 1998 a member of Azerbaijan Union of Journalists. He is a member of the Writers’ Unity of Turkey, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Ukraine, and Romania.
He was elected a member of the Board of Romanian-Azerbaijani Friendship Society (2003).
Professor Isgandarzada was appointed the Ambassador of Culture for Asian countries by Eurasian International Organization in 2004.
He was awarded with The Great Gold Pen by the International Academy of Cadre in 2005.
In 2005, he was awarded the laureate diploma of Kyrgyzstan National Writers’ Union.
In 2005, Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada was elected the Honorary President of Eurasian Friendship, Culture, Arts and Tourism Organization (Turkey) for Asian countries.
In 2006, he was awarded the International Prize “The Prize of the Year” by the magazine of “Turkcem” (Kosovo).
The Plenipotentiary Representative of the International Prize Association (Geneva, Switzerland) for Turkey and Azerbaijan, he has been appointed the Ambassador of Culture (2009).
In 2009, he was elected an Honorary Citizen of Athens (Athens, Greece), and also was appointed the Chairman of the Department of Turkish World of European Academy of Natural Sciences (Hanover, Germany).
In 2010, he was awarded the World's Largest Poetry Award (the World Grand Prize for Poetry).
In 2010, he was awarded the title of “Honorary Scientist of the City of Rome” and the city's commemorative medal.
In 2011, Dr. Isgandarzada was awarded the “Europe's Honor Innovator” award and the Golden Medal.
In 2012, he was awarded with the honorary title “European Science and Culture Worker”.
In 2013, for the poetry he was awarded by the Ministry of Culture with the "Golden Words" State Prize.
In 2013, the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan elected him a member of the Expert Council.
He received the President's Award in 2014. Also, in 2014 he was awarded by the Ministry of Education.
Since July 2015 Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada is the Head of the Department of Metrology and Standardization of Azerbaijan Technical University.
In 2015, he was appointed a member of the Dissertation Council D02.171 operating under Azerbaijan Technical University, and the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Seminar of that Council.
In 2015, Dr. Isgandarzada was awarded with the title “Advanced Education Worker” of Azerbaijan Republic.
In 2016, for the first time in Azerbaijan, Hexagon Laboratory for Coordinate Metrology, the most modern field of science, has been established.
In 2016, he was awarded the Honorary Diploma by the International Journal of Engineering Research & Science (Web of Science / Thomson Reuters / Impact Factor).
In 2016, Dr. Isgandarzada was awarded the European Order of Merit by European Academy of Natural Sciences and European University (Hanover, Germany) for his achievements in science and education.
In 2016, he was awarded a Certificate by Hexagon Metrology.
He was awarded with the title “Honored Teacher of the Republic of Azerbaijan” (2016).
Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada is elected a full (academic) member of many Academies: Caucasian Peoples International Academy of Sciences (Tbilisi, 2003); International Academy of Sciences for Turkic World Studies (Ankara, 2004); International Personnel Academy (Kiev, 2005); Tabriz Academy of Language and Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Tabriz, 2006); Ukrainian International Book Academy (Kiev, 2007); Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (Moscow, 2007); European Academy of Natural Sciences (Germany, 2008); Italian International Academy of Sciences (Rome, 2010); Bonifaciana Academy of the Vatican (Vatican, 2017); and so on.
He is awarded with many prizes and awards, among them: the International Prize of Nizami Aydin, the prize and medal of Yusif Mammadaliyev, the prize “Gold Pen”, International Prize of Rasul Rza, the Prize of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev, the National Prize of Memory, the prize “For the Service to Turkish Science” (Turkey), the prize “For the Service to Turkish World” (Turkey), the KIBATEK Service Prize, the private prize “Garajaoglan”, The Prize for the Superior Service to Turkish Science and Culture (Turkey), the International Literature Prize of KIBATEK, and others.
Among the recent achievements of Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada:
• First application of coordinate metrology in Azerbaijan;
• Establishment of Hexagon Coordinate Metrology Laboratory;
• Approval of National Etalon of Coordinate Metrology.
Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada actively participated in scientific missions in many cities: Milan, Rome (Italy), Paris (France), Barcelona (Spain), Moscow (Russia), Tbilisi (Georgia), Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir (Turkey), Dusseldorf, Cologne, Rostock (Germany), Brussels (Belgium), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Jerusalem, Tel Aviv (Israel), Massachusetts, Boston, Cambridge, Harvard (USA), Lisbon, Porto (Portugal), and so on. He was the representative of more than 100 international and republican conferences, congresses and symposiums.
He is an author of more than 300 scientific works, 59 inventions, 32 monographs and school supplies, 125 figurative and scientific books.
He translated the works of 75 writers of the world into Azerbaijani language and published those works.
He is the Editor of more than 500 scientific and figurative books.
His works have been published into the languages of the peoples of CIS, English, French, German, Romanian, Bulgarian, Albanian, Serbian, Persian, and other languages.
His books were published in Turkey, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Romania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Poland, Albania, Uzbekistan, Germany, Ukraine, Syria, Kosovo, Greece, and Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, translated into the local languages.
For his scientific achievements Dr. Isgandarzada was recently elected a full (academic) member of Russian Academy of Metrology (St. Petersburg, 2018), and of the International Academy of Sciences (Austria, 2019).
He was elected the Vice-President of European Academy of Natural Sciences (Hannover, Germany), and awarded the title “Honorary Professor” (2020).
In 2020, UNCOPA (Geneva, Switzerland) awarded Professor Dr. Elchin Isgandarzada with the honorary title “Ambassador of Science and Peace”.
