“The “Scientist of the Year” Open International Competition, organized by the International Achievements Research Center, is the best encouragement that researchers, scientists and engineers could get. The Scientist of the Year award is an incomparable recognition and celebration of the immeasurable efforts researchers make to arrive at invaluable units of knowledge that could better the world.
Scientists are hardly noticed and celebrated. Unlike the entertainment industry, where artists, actors and actresses are frequently celebrated, scientists are often never recognized. Researchers who have sacrificed their comfort zone and even their discomfort zone to rather operate in the alarm zone to embark on seeming humanly impossible research works and selflessly publish their empirical findings are usually left without recognition of any form. The “Scientist of the Year” Open International Competition done by the International Achievements Research Center is a great way to celebrate academics who have sacrificed everything to successfully execute research and disseminate the discovered knowledge.
I am highly delighted as the “Scientist of the Year 2021 Winner” in the Natural Sciences/Computer and Information Sciences competition category. One could not have wished for anything greater than this recognition. I wholeheartedly thank all those who nominated me, the International Achievements Research Center for inviting me, all members of the Judging Committee and the international experts who rigorously studied the countless submissions from around the globe and found me worthy of the award.
I wish to unreservedly congratulate all the awardees of the Scientist of the Year 2021. I most fervently call on individuals in various fields who have engaged in research to positively impact humans and the modern world significantly to seek for and participate in the Scientist of the Year Open International Competition. The winners of the competition are accorded global recognition that could spur them to do much more.
No nation can rise above the volume of its research. The developed nations attained and are sustaining their enviable status through an enormous investment in research. The need for improved funding of research globally cannot be overemphasized. For the world to advance any step further, due attention must be given to research. The International Achievements Research Center was established to encourage improved investment of time, effort and money in life-changing research by individuals, groups, private and public organizations for accelerated advancement of the world. Kudos to the Center. ”

“Man has basic needs of several types: food, shelter, travel, communication, leisure, etc. These needs, whatever the standard of living, geographical location and origin of man, must be the concern of scientists and researchers. So applied development research becomes very essential. Scientists in the fields of engineering and technology, particularly Civil Engineering, therefore have a duty to develop technology to make available to the population:
• buildings for accommodation and work;
• tracks, roads, railways, airports, ports, bridges, viaducts, etc. to move;
• works of art, utility works, factories, water towers, reservoirs, etc. for operational and power needs.
The remarkable diversity of the resources of planet earth and more generally of the universe (plants, soils, rocks, air, etc.) which vary from one place to another, from one period to another, obliges man to adapt to these available resources or to transform them according to its needs. For a mastery of the various resources for human needs, scientists and researchers have the duty to characterize and model them.
Thus, mathematical models must be put in place on all phenomena to allow any man anywhere to have reliable data enabling him to transform or adapt the available resources to his needs.
The activities of scientists and researchers deserve a framework for encouraging, sharing experiences and their results. Thus the scientific competition "Scientist of the year" is an ideal niche to promote the professional growth of scientists and researchers.
For our part, "the 2021 Scientific of the Year", which is the fifth scientific recognition of our work since 2018, constitutes for us a great comfort for the pursuit of this noble activity which is research. We thus encourage researchers and scientists from all over the world to participate for their scientific development. ”

They all have provided the conditions for the scientific merit that brought me here, as well as the Brazilian funding agencies CNPq, Capes and Fapergs. I also express my gratitude to my post-graduate students and colleagues, which have collaborated with my research group, as well as all those who have helped in my scientific production. Last, but not least, I thank my family, more specifically, my father, Lucilio Wyse in memorian, who taught me the value of the dedication to study and to work, and to pursue one's dreams, but with the art of having one's feet on the ground. Quoting Isaac Newton who said, "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." Therefore, I thank all of these giants. I am sure that other excellent nominees for this award would have had the conditions to win and I congratulate them for this. I am also happy because I love my work and I try to make it the best of the experience possible of my life and for the lives of students, colleagues and others, since science is to improve the life of every one of us. I would like to highlight that an award as this one gives considerable visibility to science and, therefore, encourages others, especially young people to pursue a scientific career, which is very rich, creative and full of charm. For me, dedicating one's self to science is very worthwhile. Live happily! I wish success and the best for all. Thank you!”

"Inspiration is special touch of the wisdom that might help further development of each specific scientific focus and, having that in mind, competition for „The Scientist of the Year“ for me personally was that kind of inspiring move that will help improvement of my own widening of specific economic perspective in my scientific and personal work, as well as for the specific environment of the higher institution within which I am targeting my personal touch – International University Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the same time, being a winner within the field of Social Sciences – economics, among and surrounded of other important and highly respected competitors from all around the Globe, is another inspiring momentum which will make even better my future development within the specific field of economics. The International Achievements Research Center from Chicago, USA has made an excellent appearance how, independently and aside of any kind of mud water of influence and manipulation, Scientific jury and online votes can achieve a great and unique example for the future benefits of the world of science. Thank you very much for that."
