The submitted nominations should be within the scope of the nine main competition categories:

  Leading this charge are typically the Chancellor, Provost, and Board of Trustees, all of whom exemplify excellence, passion, and commitment and who work to ensure that all levels of the University operate efficiently, responsibly, and with the best interest of the students and staff in mind
• Academic Reputation
  A variety of factors contribute to the reputation of a higher education institution, including admissions selectivity, accomplishments of alumni, quality of faculty, size of the endowment and operating budget, number of library holdings, peer rankings, and leadership quality. The University has a long legacy of academic excellence and continues to build on that legacy in ways that prepare students to succeed in a constantly changing world
• Innovative Research
  The University is home to research centers that span disciplines and has a number of an extensive and diverse array of scholarly, professional, scientific, and creative output produced at the University. The University is committed to advancing research excellence to address pressing global needs, basic research that advances fundamental understanding, and curiosity-driven inquiry. Research at the University strives to involve students at every opportunity
• Exceptional Teaching
  The University brings new faculties for disciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching and research while maintaining well and promoting collaborations among existing faculty in a broad spectrum of disciplines, including STEM, social sciences, humanities, and creative arts.
