Recent Achievements

Ivan Evdokimov3

Since 2016 Prof. Dr. Ivan Evdokimov is the Head of the Department of Milk and Dairy Products Technology at the North Caucasus Federal University organized in cooperation with JSC Stavropol Dairy Plant. The department implements educational programs to prepare bachelors and masters for the dairy industry. He is a scientific supervisor at the Center for Biotechnology Engineering (since 2015, his main research focus is the deep processing of dairy raw materials). Under the leadership of Prof. Evdokimov, 40 candidates of science (PhD) and 7 doctors of technical sciences have been prepared. Now he is a supervisor of 6 post-graduate students and of 3 researchers working for doctor's degree.

Prof. Evdokimov is an expert of International Dairy Federation and Skolkovo Foundation. He is a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals Dairy Industry, Milk Processing, Food Processing, Modern Science and Innovation, Food Systems.

Prof. Ivan Evdokimov is an author of more than 1,500 scientific papers, including 96 patents of the Russian Federation. He is an Honorary Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation (2014), winner (gold medal) of the Russian Government Award in Science and Technology, Academician of the International Academy of Refrigeration and the National Academy of Food Safety (2017), co-supervisor of the leading scientific school of the Russian Federation "Living Systems Technologies" (grant of the President of the Russian Federation). In cooperation with engineering companies, 42 technologies developed by Ivan Evdokimov have been introduced in food industry in Russia and abroad (in Argentina, Belarus, India, Netherlands, Ukraine, Czech Republic).
