Karishma Mehta is a professional fashion designer and entrepreneur from India, running her own fashion label for almost eight years.

She did her graduation in commerce and obtained a diploma in Fashion Designing and Garment Technology from the Stenodec Institute of Professional Education.

Karishma has showcased her fashion collections in multiple national fashion shows and exhibitions. Her first designer collection was presented at the International Fashion Week in Goa. After showcasing her other collection devoted to bridal couture, she was recognized as one of the best fashion designers.

Mrs. Mehta was showcasing her designer's collection at India’s prominent fashion week IBFW, which was appreciated and even telecasted on the FTV international channel. She has also presented her collections for the Goa Tourism Department event, the Grape Escapade, which was the collection of party wear and cocktail gowns. And her club wear collection was presented at the world’s renowned club Tittos in Goa.

Karishma Mehta caters to national and international clients from Canada, Australia, England, Switzerland, and the USA. She designed dresses for international beauty pageants contestants in the Dominican Republic and South Korea, represented by Indian girls.

Several articles about her collections were published in the various state- and national-level newspapers and fashion magazines.

Karishma Mehta was a part of a grudging panel to judge the fashion competition of other inspiring designers at Goa university.

Mrs. Karishma Mehta is known for her outstanding Label Thiana, renowned for its super fashionable bridal and occasion wear collections. She implements a lot of innovations and experiments in design and eco-friendly garments and promotes sustainable fashion for women’s lines.

After the pandemic, the fashion industry faced many hiccups to get back. People now are more concerned about health and sustainability. That is why Karishma Mehta has started new fashion trends in the market and initiated innovative collections by introducing eco-friendly fabrics to attract more customers. Her dresses are made from eco-friendly materials, so they are not only breathable but also bio-degradable and sustained.

Among Mrs. Mehta’s recent achievements, the showcasing a sustainable collection at one of India’s top 10 fashion weeks - Bangalore Fashion Week.

Also, she was nominated and won the most prestigious Fashion Designer Award of the Year 2022. She is also a winner of the Indian Achievers' Award 2022 as a women entrepreneur of the year 2022.

During the seven years of her professional experience, Karishma Mehta has worked with several prestigious clients who appreciated her creativity and professional skills; a few of these clients include:
• Planet Bollywood: design dresses for the staff in 2018;
• Vibrant Goa Global Expo and Summit - designed dresses for organizing committee;
• Designed dresses for International Beauty Pageant in South Korea in 2018 (for contestant Pearl Almedia);
• Designed dresses for Kezaia Kaldeira, Miss Goa, Queen of the Cities of the World.

Professional activity and designer’s collections of Mrs. Mehta has been covered by leading media houses like IBT India, IBT Singapore, Goa Times, Times of India, Herald, Navhind Times, The Goan, Gomantak Times, and Fashion magazines like Viva Goa, Goan Expresso, The Wedding by Herald.

She has been selected and served as an Ambassador, and three times as the President, for the American business networking organization BNI, and mentored other business professionals with her leadership quality.
