Venelin Terziev has completed master's degrees in chemistry, pedagogy and economics. He has a doctorate in political economy (Ph.D.).
Venelin Terziev has defended a doctoral dissertation for the scientific degree: Doctor of Economics - D.Sc. (Ec.). Later, he has defended a doctoral dissertation for the scientific degree: Doctor of Science in the field of National Security. In 2018 he defended his last doctoral dissertation for the scientific degree: Doctor of Social Sciences.
Currently, Professor Dr. Venelin Terziev is the Chief Executive Officer at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria. Also, he is Professor at the Restoration and Archeology Directorate Georgi Rakovski Military Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria; Professor at the University of Rousse, Rousse, Bulgaria; and a Chief Scientific Secretary at Kaneff University Hospital, Rousse, Bulgaria.
Prof. Dr. Terziev is a full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Among his recent awards:
• Prize for scientific work of significant contribution to economic science and practice – UNSS, 2015;
• Prize of the Commission on Protection against Discrimination of the Republic of Bulgaria for significant contribution to research activity – official plaque, Sofia, 2016;
• Prize for contribution to the development of military educational science of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Bulgaria, binoculars, Sofia, 2017;
• Honored Professor of Vasil Levski National Military University, Veliko Tarnovo, 2017;
• Golden medal at the International book exhibition – Bazaar, Moscow, 2017;
• Golden medal from the exhibition Frankfurter Buchmesse, 2017;
• Order Aleksander Veliki for scientific triumphs and perfection, Russian Academy of Natural History, Moscow, 2018;
