As a Senior Network and Security Engineer with extensive experience in Cloud Network Technologies and Security Solutions, Vinay Gugueoth has a proven track record of success in project planning, network architecture development, system and network troubleshooting, network security, and management for both enterprise and tactical networks. He is focused on maintaining network security to provide enterprise customers with safe data management.

His educational background includes pursuing a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity at the University of the Cumberlands, with an expected graduation in April 2024, and holding a Master's in Information Technology and Management from Campbellsville University.

Currently, Vinay is employed at Amazon Web Services, Inc. as a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, where he leads the strategy and vision for new and mature networking technologies and enhances the current technology by adding new security features. His experience in problem-solving and critical thinking helps define use cases for a wide variety of customers and impacts multiple AWS services at scale. His expertise mainly focuses on inventing new networking and security protocols and enhancing security in existing networking technologies to protect against cyber attacks. He manages various technology automations related to cloud networking services and applications from inception to completion.

Prior to joining AWS, Vinay worked as a Network Engineer for Acintya Energy and Midhani, where he configured and maintained network infrastructure and applied security protocols. He also automated many network administrating tools and invented new troubleshooting methodologies.

Vinay Gugueoth has been recognized for his achievements with several awards, including "Captain Amazon", "Rising Star" from Amazon, and Network Administrator of the Year from the CEO of Acintya Energy. He is a professional member of ISACA and a member of an International research association Sigma Xi. Additionally, he is an experienced judge for Technology awards conducted by Globee International Awards and Brandon Hall Awards. With his technical, business, and interpersonal skills, he possesses a unique leadership ability to deliver complex business objectives with creative problem-solving skills.

Vinay Gugueoth is a Senior Cloud Network and Security Engineer working for the largest cloud services provider and operator, Amazon Web Services, Inc. As an expert Cloud Network Engineer, he designs and configures highly available network and security solutions for enterprise customers, which impact public sector organizations and some of the world's largest technology and financial companies.

Recently, Vinay developed an automated dynamic VPN configuration file for multiple challenging vendor devices and created a solution for the most complex network overlapping issue by implementing advanced twice NAT technology on router devices. He is proud to have been awarded several prestigious global awards from Amazon Web Services, including the "VPN Subject Matter Expert Medal", the "Transit Gateway Subject Matter Expert Medal", and the "Most Valuable Player" award from AWS. In addition, Vinay was recently awarded the most valuable fellowships from BCS and Sigma Xi.

He is also a PhD researcher and regularly publishes articles on cybersecurity by collaborating with a US DoD-funded laboratory. He also judges others' research and professional work and recognizes experts in the field.
