Professor Veaceslav Manolachi is a Distinguished Worker of the International Association of Universities of Physical Education and Sport, holder of many patents for inventions. He is an active participant in international and national congresses.

The Rector of the State University of Physical Education and Sports is not his only leading position. He is also the President of the USEFS Senate (2001- present); Director of the Olympic Academy of the Republic of Moldova (2002 – present); Professor at the Cross-border Faculty of Humanities, Economics and Engineering, "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galaţi, Romania (2016 – present); the President of the Judo Federation of the Republic of Moldova (2000 - 2015). He is the Master of Sports in Sambo and Judo, Honored Coach of the Republic of Moldova.
