Professor Kamshibayev is the author of 8 tutorials: "Financing and Lending of Investments", "Foreign Finance", "Financial Analysis", "Financial Markets and Intermediaries" (Ust-Kamenogorsk, 2011), "Financial Markets and Intermediaries", "Securities Market" (Ust-Kamenogorsk, 2017), "Banking" (Ust-Kamenogorsk, 2018), "Audit Bases" (Ust-Kamenogorsk, 2019) and 1 monograph "Sustainable economic development of regions" (Vienna, Austria, 2015).

More than 70 scientific articles and abstracts were published in scientific journals of Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine.

In 2019, he was awarded the honorary title "Founder of a New Scientific Direction: International financial markets and international financial institutions”.

In 2020 - the honorary title "Founder of a Science School: International Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of liberalization and globalization of the World Economy”.

Professor Yermek Kamshibayev is an Academician of the International Academy of Natural Sciences, the Moscow Academy of Natural Sciences, and the New York Academy of Sciences, a corresponding member of the Regional Academy of Management.

He is a member of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
