About Winner
Professor Ghaleb Alhadrami Albreiki earned his PhD in Nutritional Sciences in 1991 at the University of Arizona, AZ, USA.
In 1994-1998, he held the post of Vice Dean, Assistant Dean for Research, and Chair of the Animal Production Department at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU).
From 2007 to 2014, Professor Ghaleb served as the Dean of the College of Food and Agriculture.
In 2014-2016, he held the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies and Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Registration.
Professor Ghaleb Alhadrami Albreiki assumed the post of Vice-Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University in 2019. He was also assigned the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs from August 2016 to January 2021.
Recent Achievements
Prof. Ghaleb joined the Executive Committee for the Education and Human Resources Council in 2020. He has also been a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Space Science and Technology Center since 2020.
He has been a member of the Emirates Scientists Council since 2016, a member of the UAEU Expo 2020 Dubai Advisory Board Council since 2016, and the Secretary General of the Date Palm Friends Society since 2019.
Prof. Ghaleb Alhadrami Albreiki has published over sixty scientific papers in refereed conferences and scientific journals.
He is the author of two books and four book chapters.
