MAK Projects collaborated with Forestry Innovation Investment (FII) India to diversify into sustainable luxury wood housing in India.
The Canadian Wood Villa project, a pioneering initiative, combines light wood frame construction, mass timber, and prefabricated construction technologies, showcasing sustainable and certified wood species from British Columbia, Canada.
The project significantly reduces carbon footprint, contributing to environmental conservation.
Sustainability Advocate
The extensive use of wood in the structure has resulted in 481 metric tons of reduced carbon footprint in the project — the equivalent of removing 102 cars from the road for a year.
Diplomatic Achievements
H.E. Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan was appointed as the Honorary Consul by the External Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan on January 15, 2021, with the approval of the President of India on January 20, 2021.
He is actively involved in promoting bilateral cultural relations between India and Kazakhstan, emphasizing the exchange of art, literature, textiles, food, and culture.
In December 2021, he was honored with the prestigious Jubilee Medal by the Republic of Kazakhstan in recognition of his significant contributions to the development, statehood establishment, and strengthening of sovereignty.
The Jubilee Medal is a distinguished national honor bestowed upon individuals who have made outstanding contributions to national development and bilateral relations between nations.
In 2018-2019, H.E. Dr. Nawab Mir Nasir Ali Khan was awarded the Asia One Person of the Year award in Dubai, chosen by Consumers & Industry Research Services & AsiaOne magazine.
